A survey of 1400 senior corporate attorneys, conducted for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, has ranked Delaware as the fairest and most reasonable tort and contract litigation system in the United States for business.  Areas ranked include: overall treatment of tort and contract litigation, treatment of class actions, punitive damages, timeliness of summary judgment/dismissal, discovery, handling of scientific and technical evidence, judges' impartiality, and judges' competence.  Delaware placed first in all of those categories.
